Matrox Monarch™ HD is a small, easy-to-use video streaming and recording appliance designed for professional video producers who need to simultaneously stream a live event and record a mastering-quality version for post-event editing. It provides these two independent delivery channels in a cost-effective integrated unit with a robust, quiet, fanless design.

Matrox and Wowza have partnered to further simplify streaming. The preconfigured video streaming settings makes it easier for our joint customers to set up and manage their streams to any device, anywhere. Monarch HD users can now simply download an XML file containing all relevant credentials to connect to the Wowza sever via the Wowza Streaming Engine Manager admin panel, select an encoding preset and begin streaming.
