Wowza Media Server 3 Shortlisted for 2011 CSI Product Awards
EVERGREEN, CO — August 10, 2011 — Wowza Media Systems®, the “any screen done right™” media server software company, today announced that its Wowza Media Server® 3 has made the short list of finalists in the 2011 Cable & Satellite International (CSI) Product Awards. Wowza is among seven finalists in the “TV Everywhere/multi-screen video” category, which is a new category this year. CSI created it as a stand-alone category to reflect the growing importance of cross-platform video services.
Now in their ninth year, the CSI Awards have become one of the most comprehensive and competitive technology awards programs in the world, designed to reward technical and product marketing excellence in the cable, satellite, terrestrial broadcasting, IPTV, online/internet video,
