Wowza Easter Egg in HBO’s “Silicon Valley”!

We here at Wowza are avid fans of HBO’s “Silicon Valley,” and have really enjoyed this season’s focus on live streaming. Sharp-eyed viewers may have noticed that the main character, Richard, edited a SMIL file in the season finale last Sunday. Really sharp-eyed viewers may have noticed that Wowza is referenced in that SMIL file. Check out these screenshots!
It even references the Wowza Streaming Engine 4.2 release’s new VP9 preview feature detailed in our recent blog post.
