10 Years of Wowza Wins: Streaming Media Readers’ Choice Awards

For the 10th consecutive year, Wowza is proud to announce that our flagship Wowza Streaming Engine™ software was awarded the Streaming Media Readers’ Choice Award for best media server technology! During the awards ceremony, Wowza GoCoder SDK was also named runner-up for best mobile device video production solution.

The 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards had a total of 289 nominees across 31 categories, and brought in over 37,000 votes. The winners were announced during Streaming Media West in Huntington Beach.

These two awards continue to solidify Wowza Media Systems as the industry gold standard for streaming software and services. Wowza would like to give a huge “thank you” to all the loyal fans and customers who cast their ballots for us!

Wowza is also honored to be included in the 2017 Streaming Media 100: an annual list of the 100 companies that matter most in online video.
