iOS and Mac OS X - Safari
HTML5 or HLS are not supported in this browser
To play on an iOS device
On an iOS device, enter the following URL in Safari:
http://[wowza-ip-address]:1935/live/myStream/playlist.m3u8
Description
This example demonstrates how to use Wowza on Mac OS X or iOS in Safari.
Installation
In the /examples/LiveVideoStreaming directory:
- LINUX
Run ./installall.sh - WINDOWS 7 / WINDOWS 8
Right-click installall.bat and then select Run as administrator - WINDOWS SERVER
Double-click the installall.bat file - MAC OS X
Double-click the installall.command file
To view this example on iOS
- On an iOS device, enter the URL at the lower-left corner of this page into Safari.
-or- - Copy this example to the documents directory your web server, and then open this page in Safari on an iOS device.
Instructions

- Make sure that the URL in the Stream field is correct.
- Click the Connect button.
